Bart's Story
Meet Bart!

Bart is an 8-year-old Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of quiet love. After sadly losing his person, Bart found himself at the shelter through no fault of his own. Now, he’s looking for a soft place to land and a forever family to call his own.

This sweet boy is the definition of calm and easygoing. He’s quiet, well-mannered, and perfectly content just being near his people. Bart is housebroken and dog door trained, making him an easy addition to the home. He enjoys leisurely walks where he can take in the world at his own pace, but he’s just as happy curled up on the couch soaking in all the cuddles.

Bart would do well as an only dog or with another dog who shares his same calm, low-key energy. While he will politely use a crate if needed, his favorite place is right next to you—snuggled up and feeling safe and loved.

Bart would thrive in a calm, low-key home where he can relax, feel secure, and spend his golden years surrounded by love. If you’re looking for a loyal, mellow companion to share your days and your couch, Bart might just be your perfect match.

Bart has been neutered, is current on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped.

If you are interested in adopting Bart, please complete an adoption application on our website (uaaf.org/adopt).
