Bart 2's Story

This sweet boy is a total professional when it comes to kisses, cuddles, and long walks. While he gets a little wiggly and excited to gear up for an adventure, he is a complete gentleman the moment you hit the pavement; no pulling here!

He is a strong, sturdy lad who knows how to use his size for affection; he will occasionally give you a lean with his body weight when he is excited to see you or ready to head out.

He is not a big fan of going into the kennel and will dart out to see you when the door opens, so be ready for some love when he sees you are ready to interact! However, once he is in his kennel, his manners are impeccable. He is remarkably quiet, rarely barks, and will simply sit and observe, hoping to catch your eye for a little human connection.

When in the yard, he is going to love zoomies, and will love to play

He may not do well with cats since he is very fascinated with them, so check in with us about cat testing first to make sure he is the right for your family

He was a total star at our recent adoption event, winning over volunteers and strangers alike with his waggy tail and gentle treat taking. The dogs he met all interacted well together, but he appreciates a slow, respectful introduction to ensure everyone is on the same page.

He is currently at our Fort Lupton Shelter and is waiting for his forever home!
