Bart's Story
Don't you just love that expression? That's Bart's expression most of the time, unless he's overjoyed, then it's a full-on smile. Hard to believe that no one was looking for him, but he now with us waiting to begin the next chapter in his life. While he may be five years old his behaviors are still quite puppy-ish (in a good way). Since he arrived, he hasn't met anyone who is not his new best friend. He's a true champ on a walk and can go the distance, if you're up for it. If you are looking for a dog who is always up for adventure, go with the flow kind of guy, Bart may be for you! He seems to be fairly respectful of cats but would prefer to be your only canine.

The adoption fee for adult dogs is $225. All have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated for rabies, kennel cough, DH(L)PP, have had a complete fecal analysis, treated for internal and external parasites, are heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative and flea and tick preventative and are microchipped. Stop in on Monday, Thursday and Friday from 10- 1, Saturdays from 10 - 4, Sundays from 2-5 without an appointment or call us at 607-594-2255 to schedule an appointment. Or, visit our website www.schuylerhumane.org to fill out an adoption application to get the process started.
