Callaway County Humane Society's Adoption Policy
To adopt one of our pets you must first fill out an application to qualify to adopt. To fill out an application, go to our website and click on the forms tab at the top of the page. We do not adopt our pets out on a "first come first served" basis. We take applications and then do our very best to fit people and pets so the adoption is a life long match. We require a fenced yard for our pets to keep them safe and at home with you! A fence can be above ground fencing, wireless containment or underground fencing. Welcome to the Callaway County Humane Society! We don't have a shelter so our Furbabies are placed in loving foster homes. If you are interested in one of our pets fill out an application and email it back to us. When your application is approved we can set a time to go visit the pet at his foster home. For further information about one of our pets please email us at callawayhumanesociety@gmail.com
