Barrett-Meet Me?'s Story

Barrett was adopted when he was a puppy from our rescue but unfortunately Barrett's owner had an unexpected change in her situation creating a difficult circumstance wherein Barrett was unfortunately crated for many more hours than intended and it was best for him to be rehomed. He is a young dog that has had some training but mostly needs someone who give him a lot more time, attention, and exercise. He does need more socialization as he has lived as an only dog and can be picky with the dogs he prefers so slow intros would be needed. Barrett is doing great at with his fosters and sleeps and snuggles with them. Although he doesn't live with any children he has been around them and is very gentle with them and we think he would be fine with kids 7 years old and up. He's a very handsome and smart Doberman mix with a sweet personality who needs a new owner who is dedicated to continue his training. Barrett needs a home where someone is home often or works from home as he had some separation anxiety at his previous home where he was left crated for long hours. He enjoys the outdoors and also likes to curl up on the couch with you. He weighs approximately 80 pounds. Birthdate 3/30/25
