Baron

Baron is a cropped, docked black & rust boy with spunky joy, and a gentle, relaxed attitude. This 6 year old has a great time playing with other pups at the dog park, especially with the smaller, faster pups. He's pretty good on the leash, but will pull a bit, wanting to chase happily after a squirrel. A very easy dog in the house, he's content to sit at your side, lie at your feet, or put out a paw for a pet or a hug. However, he also loves being outside, and enjoys leash walks and in-fence play time. He knows sit, sit/stay, paw, and down. He is crate-trained and house-trained. He has shown himself to be completely comfortable in lots of different situations, crossing busy streets, near train yards, greeting other dogs, etc. He greets one of my cats nose-to-nose, but is unknown with cats who might run from a dog. Baron's desire to chase after a scrambling squirrel would probably translate into chasing cats. Because of his gentle disposition, Baron would probably be good with children who can be trusted to consistently treat a dog kindly. Baron is one of the easiest-going dogs I've met.
