Barney is a 3-year-old Lab/Great Pyrenees mix looking for a buddy to share in life's adventures with!<br/><br/>Barney, along with another dog named Clyde, was found as a stray living on the streets in Louisiana. He came to CARE when he was 7 months old and about 37 lbs. Nowadays, he weighs in at an even 100 lbs.<br/><br/>Although his large stature may be intimidating, Barney is a very sweet and affectionate dog. He loves to meet new people and receive pets and attention. He also does well with older kids, but needs time to warm up to other dogs. He would make a great companion dog for a household with adults or older kids.<br/><br/>Barney is vaccinated, neutered & microchipped. His adoption fee is $300. <br/><br/>CARE's adoptable pets are specifically evaluated and selected to be family and companion animals. We place them in foster homes where they live in the home environment and become part of the family while awaiting permanent adoption.
