Barney is a 7-year-old longhaired dachshund who is a chubby, but sweet and happy boy!<br/><br/>A specialist ultrasound showed an enlarged prostate that was so big, it was displacing his bladder and making him urinate frequently. However, a neuter is expected to be curative, and he had that done recently. He still needs a dental at the end of July before he is adoptable.<br/><br/>This boy is excellent with all people and dogs of all sizes. Although we like to tailor each match, we do have some basic criteria we look with respect to adoptive homes: *Homes should be non-smoking *Have a securely fenced yard *Ability to commit to yearly dentals and shots for the pet *Willingness to purchase ramps and pet stairs to safeguard the dog's back
