"I love you. You love me. We're a happy family... " My name is Barney, but I am not a big purple dinosaur. I'm a .5-year- old, 65-pound, lovable, pointer mix boy who was found as a stray but quickly learned all about being a great family dog, so I'm house, crate and leash trained (even though I don't need a crate because I'm a good boy without one). <br/><br/>I will need a house setting with a securely fenced yard. I do I get along with dogs and kids but might knock over little ones without meaning to. In fact, I really enjoy playing with kids! When I get excited, I turn in circles! I know how to "sit" and am working on several other commands. My disposition is laid back and calm once I am comfortable with you. I can take a bit to warm up, particularly to men and I can be timid about new experiences and people. Aren't we all a work in progress?
