Hi, my name is Barney! I'm a GREEN pawprint, which means I will fit well into most homes. May do well with dog-savvy / respectful kids of any age. He's a happy-go-lucky dog who absolutely LOVES people. He's his happiest when he's with his person, and would therefore do best in a home where someone is present often. Barney's history is a bit of a mystery. He came to WHS as a stray with two other dogs, but other than that we don't know much about his past. What we do know is that he's a loveable goofball who's going to make someone very happy. It doesn't seem like Barney's had much training (the only trick he knows is "sit"). Like any rescue dog, he is going to benefit greatly from consistent positive reinforcement based training, a predictable routine, and lots of TLC. <br/><br/>If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website (www.whatcomhumane.org/adopt) or in person at our facility.
