Barnaby's Story

Meet Barnaby!
This wrinkly, wonderful boy is ready to find his people! Barnaby is a 10-month-old Shar Pei mix weighing in at a sturdy 37 lbs — big enough to keep up on adventures, small enough to still be the ultimate lap dog when he feels like it.
Barnaby is a sweet soul who is still finding his footing in the world. He does wonderfully with other dogs and truly blossoms in their company — which is why we’re looking for a home that already has a confident canine companion to help him come out of his shell. A calm, friendly dog friend could make all the difference for this boy!
He’s working toward his best life health-wise, too. Barnaby will be neutered prior to adoption and will have a minor corrective surgery to fix entropion in one eye — a common condition in the Shar Pei breed that will have him seeing the world more comfortably in no time. He’s already microchipped and up to date on all vaccines, so he’s nearly ready to walk right into your heart and home.
A few things Barnaby needs in his forever home:
∙ A resident dog to be his built-in best friend and confidence booster
∙ A securely fenced yard to safely explore and decompress
∙ Patient, loving humans who will let him set the pace
If you’ve got the space, the patience, and a furry roommate for this guy, Barnaby might just be your perfect match.
