Meet Barnabus!<br/><br/>Barnabus is a handsome, approximately 5-year-old 70 pound doodle who is looking for a fresh start and a family to call his own.<br/><br/>When Barnabus arrived at Stratford Animal Care & Control, he was found roaming and was severely matted from head to toe. His coat was dirty, tangled, and uncomfortable, a sign that he had not received the care he deserved. Thanks to some much needed grooming and care, this sweet boy is feeling much better and ready to begin the next chapter of his life.<br/><br/>Barnabus has been neutered, microchipped, and tested negative for disease. He is new to our shelter, so we are still getting to know all of his likes, dislikes, and quirks. What we do know is that he has been friendly with both people and other dogs and has been enjoying all the attention he has received so far.<br/><br/>As we learn more about his personality, we will continue to provide updates. For now, Barnabus is hoping someone will see beyond his rough start and give him the loving home he deserves.<br/><br/>His adoption fee has been waived through the month of June.<br/><br/>Barnabus has already overcome a difficult start.
