Barmbrack's Story
Barmbrack A146432
44 lb. spayed female, approx 7 years old

-She is an older gal who is still spry and energetic!
-She walks nicely on a leash and loves to sniff and explore along the way.
-She is an absolute tennis ball gal! She fetches and drops it to be thrown again. She also enjoys stuffies.
-She likes treats, sits and takes them decently but needs reminders to be "easy". She gives paw enthusiastically (sometimes with both paws at the same time) 😆
-She enjoys pets and being close. When she's not playing she is content to lay down and relax near you.
-All around good girl!
-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros

*She recently had a mammary tumor removed and is healing well!

Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids

*Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt

*Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment.

*Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in.

*There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.

*To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering.

**And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.**

*The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30

**1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
