Barkley's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.18-month-old Barkley is an energetic puppy-ish boy who is very hesitant at first when meeting other dogs and people, and then is full-on happy! He's of smallish size and loves attention and to be close. Barkley is crate trained, and, in fact, supposedly spent much of his puppyhood in a crate, which might account for his initial hesitance on encountering new dogs, people and situations. He is not housebroken yet, so he will require a home willing to train him and that will allow him some freedom and gentle exposure to new things. Barkley seems to derive confidence from the presence of another dog, so a home with a confident doggie buddy is preferred.
