Barkley's Story

Barkley is a sweet, fun-loving little guy looking for a home of his own. He will leap right into your arms for affection and loves to play. He walks well on the leash and knows basic commands.  Barkley enjoys hanging out and playing with the big dogs like Winnie and Miracle, and was also pals with recently adopted little June Bug (Dacshaund mix).  We think he would do well too as an only dog, lapping up all the love and attention.  He has not been tested with children, but is generally social with people. The only issue we have found with him is that he is extremely reactive when he visits the vet He must wear a muzzle. Once we receive an adoption application, we will verify vet and personal references. An interview and meet and greet, as well as a home check, are required before adoption. All current AND previous pets (cats and dogs) MUST be up to date on vaccines and be spayed/neutered. Please check with your landlord, if you rent, for breed and weight restrictions before applying.
