Barkbra Streisand's Story

Briar is a gorgeous 8-month-old, 30-pound German Shepherd mix with a personality as beautiful as her looks. Smart, affectionate, and full of puppy joy, she's happiest wherever her people are.

She's convinced she's a lap dog and loves to cuddle just as much as she loves to play. Outside, you'll find her showing off her hilarious kangaroo hops, chasing bugs around the yard, or bringing the ball back for another game of fetch.

Briar is eager to learn and loves making her people proud. She's doing great with potty training, already knows to sit for her leash, and responds wonderfully to positive reinforcement.

She enjoys playing with other dogs of all sizes and would love a confident canine friend, but she'd also be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as your one and only. Like any young shepherd, she's still building confidence with crate training and being left alone, so she'll do best with a family committed to continuing her training.

Because of her herding instincts and puppy enthusiasm, Briar is looking for a home without cats and with older, dog-savvy children.

If you're looking for a loyal best friend who's equal parts cuddle bug, fetch partner, and goofy entertainer, Briar is ready to steal the spotlight—and your heart. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and is available for adoption now. Apply directly at www.pawsacrosspittsburgh.com/adopt through Paws Across Pittsburgh, Springdale, PA 15144, KL#16182.
