After her owner passed away, she and her companions were left without care for several days before ending up at Memphis Animal Shelter. Thankfully, rescue stepped in—and now this sweet girl is ready for the calm, loving forever home she deserves. <br/><br/>Barbie is an almost 3 year-old, 22-pound Boston terrier/ Chihuahua mix. She's a sweetheart whose favorite things include belly rubs, car rides, toys, and being close to her people. She's a total stuffy destroyer and will happily spend hours enjoying a good belly rub! <br/><br/>Barbie can be nervous around new people and chaotic environments, so she needs a calm home with patient people who will give her time to warm up.<br/><br/>She gets along best with dogs around her own size. She's crate trained, does well on a leash, and loves riding in the car.
