Barbie is a 2 year old white and red female. She is described as a bit shy. She's doing well with the big humans but, isn't so sure of the mini human in her house. She is new to our program so we will hopefully learn more soon. She has not been cat or small dog tested. www.mokangreyhounds.org

MoKan Greyhound Adoption's Adoption Policy

We are first and foremost dedicated to placing retired racing Greyhounds into loving homes. Our placement area most of Missouri and most of Kansas. Because there are many high quality adoption programs across the country, we do not make placements beyond those two states. Greyhounds placed through our program usually are between 18 months and four years old. These ex-racers are intelligent, quiet, clean, gentle, good-natured, adaptable dogs who adjust readily to their new home environment. They are eager to please and respond positively to any attention. They do not require a great deal of space to run, as many people think, but they do need exercise.
