Barbell's Story

Hi, I'm Barbell! I'm a sweet boy who is looking for my forever home or a long term foster, preferably with a resident dog. I can be a little shy at first with new people and new environments as the shelter is a little overwhelming, but I'm working on it! I warm up well with treats and like to follow the lead of other dogs. In playgroup, I have a push/pull playstyle but can also keep up with the rough rowdy boys! My favorite thing in the whole world (other than other dogs) is to play in the water! The kiddie pool, the creek, a water bowl- if I fit you can count on me making a splash!

Sounds like a good fit? To meet me and my available shelter friends, visit Metro Nashville Animal Care and Control during open hours of 12-4pm, extended hours Thursday of 12-6pm.
