I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog H:6Baobao – Gentle, Graceful, and Quietly Affectionate<br/><br/>Baobao is a female Labrador Retriever mix, just over 1 year old and about 56 pounds. She has a mellow, thoughtful nature and great leash manners, making her a lovely walking companion.<br/><br/>Wonderful on leash: Baobao walks with only very mild pulling, staying calm and relaxed even when other dogs pass by.<br/>Quietly affectionate: She may seem a little independent initially, but would increase her friendly “drive-by” greetings as she gets to know you.<br/>Polite learner: Baobao takes treats gently and responds to “sit.” With people she trusts, she’ll even sweetly offer her “paw.”<br/>Curious explorer: She enjoys sniffing and calmly exploring her surroundings.<br/>Dog social: Baobao plays nicely in doggie playgroup and enjoys a friendly game of chase with other dogs.<br/><br/>Baobao would do well in a multi-dog home or as a solo dog with social canine friends.
