Banzai's Story
Meet Banzai! Banzai is a 2.5-month-old, 6.4lbs male Australian Shepherd. Banzai is an active and curious boy who likes to be on the go. He will need an experienced and patient adopter who can stick with him for life. Banzai is double merle, as a result of this he is deaf and may go blind. Like most deaf dogs, Banzai can be VERY loud. He needs a home that doesn't mind a little barking and can work on positive reinforcement training while he is still visual. If you have never owned a deaf dog, please check out deafdogsrock.com. Banzai does have small cataracts that could progress and compromise his vision overtime in both eyes. He also has a scleral coloboma and lack of appropriate retinal development in the left eye, causing limited vision. He may need eye surgery in the future so his adopter will need to monitor his eye health and get him checked out if he appears to be uncomfortable. Banzai would not be a good match for apartment or condo living.

The adoption fee is $400. This includes the neuter, microchip, wellness bloodwork, fecal flotation, deworming and all core vaccines through puppyhood (as long as you return to us for vaccines).

If you are interested in adopting Banzai, please e-mail adoptions@thelovepetproject.org with "Banzai" in the subject. Please also tell us about yourself and your household.
