Banjo's Story

Banjo is a 3-year-old, 86-pound Anatolian Shepherd mix who is, in short, a lovable giant dork.

Exhibit A: He adores playing with other dogs, but insists on growling while he does it. Why? No clue. He just does.
Exhibit B: Splashing around in water? Amazing. Walking across wet grass in the rain? Absolutely not. Banjo’s delicate paws cannot possibly endure such hardship.
Exhibit C: He has not grasped the physics of “only one object can occupy a space at a time.” Your lap counts as open real estate, and he will happily collapse into it for a nap.

Banjo has good house manners, is good with dogs, indifferent to cats, and not the least bit hyper. He’s powerful and athletic, but not in a “bounce off the walls” way. He does, however, require a fenced yard (don’t even think about an apartment), and kids 12+ will be just fine for him. Basically, Banjo is equal parts majestic dog and oversized goofball.

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please apply online, at www.bigfluffydogs.com/dog-adoption then email katrina@bigfluffydogs.com. Our main website, www.bigfluffydogs.com has more information about us and the rescue process.

NOTE TO EMAILERS FROM PETFINDER: WE DO NOT RESPOND TO EMAIL INQUIRIES WITHOUT AN APPLICATION. We do our best to provide accurate information, but adopters should understand that each home is different and the dog may behave differently in a new home. Dogs are creatures of their environment and you help make the dog what it will be.
