Banjo's Story
Looking for your chill adventure buddy? Banjos got you

If dogs had resumes, Banjos would put us all to shame.

- Housebroken? Check.
- Crate trained? Double check.
- Professional doggy door user? Absolutely.
- Certified Gentleman in Public PlacesTM? You bet.

Banjo (72 lbs of solid good boy energy) is about 5 years old and knows how to make an entrancetail wagging, eyes shining, and ready to meet every new person like theyre an old friend. Take him to Tractor Supply, Home Depot, or anywhere really, and watch him work the crowd. Hes the well-mannered kind of dog people stop to pet, and honestly, who could blame them?

Banjo walks beautifully on a leash, sits on command, and rides like a pro in the car. He lives for his daily strolls and little adventures, but when hes home? Hes all about the couch life. This guy has mastered the art of relaxation snoozing nearby and occasionally wandering the yard to inspect his kingdom.

Hes a smart, polite, low-maintenance companion.

Banjos social circle is what we like to call exclusive. He gets along with most friendly dogs, politely ignores others, but prefers to keep his inner circle smallespecially when it comes to certain males. Cats, pigs, and farm animals arent really his vibe, though he couldnt care less about the birds in the house. Out on walks, hes a total protrained to ignore other animals and focused on his person. In his own yard, however, he prefers to keep it a members only zone and isnt a fan of unfamiliar animals wandering by. Banjo is incredibly eager to please, smart as they come, and has had solid training. Hell thrive with someone experienced with larger dogs who can keep reinforcing all the good habits hes mastered.

If youve been waiting for a loyal, chill adventure buddy who loves car rides, yard strolls, and quiet evenings, Banjos your guy. Dont overlook this onehes been waiting patiently for someone wholl see what we all already know: Banjo is the best dog.

Banjo is located in Mississippi and will be transported north once his adoption is finalized. Virtual meet and greets can be done via Zoom or Facebook messenger for approved adopters. We do NOT charge transport fees and our adoption fees are currently waived for the PERFECT home. Please note that due to long distance adoptions, we require veterinary references that demonstrate excellent care of previous/current pets.

Apply at erinregananimalsanctuary.com to be considered. Petfinder contact forms are NOT adoption applications and will not receive a reply.
