Banjo's Story

Banjo here! I'm a goofy, friendly guy who weighs about 42 lbs and I'm about 3 years old. I love everyone I meet and have no shy bone in my body. I'm happy, happy, happy and just went to play, be loved and told what a good boy I am. I've lived with other dogs and have met new dogs here and I would love to go to a home with another furry-friend. I do pretty well on leash and don't pull too much. I still pull a little when excited, but I respond well to correction. I'm really good at 'sit' and I'd love to learn more! I have met two kids who were 9+ years and I treated them no differently than adults. The staff are unsure about my history with cats, but they hope I could do well with proper introductions. I went to a home for over a week and was returned to no fault of my own, but they stated I was very potty trained and was respectful in their home. I'm looking for a home where someone is just as active as me and would be willing to train me to be the best boy ever!

I'm fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. I am $185 to bring home!

If you are interested, please call the shelter at (541) 474-5458. You can view more adoptable pets at www.jocoshelter.com/adoptions . Walk-ins are welcome, however we highly recommend calling first to check on availability and location (some animals may be offsite or unavailable). Appointments are recommended to reduce wait times, especially for dogs. Thank you!
