Banjo's Story

This is Banjo. He’s a 7 year old lemon & white basset hound who spent his life with one family, and is now looking for a soft place to land.

He was surrendered because his family needed to move and couldn’t afford to take him. He’s around 55lbs, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines and neutered. Banjo is also house trained and has been good with the other dogs and cat he’s being fostered with.

Banjo is a slow burn. He takes a little time to warm up, and likes to do it at his own pace. When he trusts you, he will let it show by giving you kisses and requesting belly rubs.

Banjo is a singer and he loves it when people sing to him. His favorite is the Birthday Song and if you start, he’ll accompany you as backup.

He’s in the golden years of his life and he deserves a warm bed, a soft blanket, and to know that he is loved.

If this special guy tears at your heart strings, please fill out an adoption questionnaire to connect with us.
