Bandito's Story

Bandito is working so hard on learning how to be the best boy! He's living with a foster family right now and he is learning so many new things! He knows commands like "sit", "paw", "down", and "stay". He is housebroken. He is good with dogs around his same size but hasn't quite learned that things smaller than him are "friends, not food" but he's getting there!

Bandito is 2 years old and about 75 pounds. He has a lot of energy, and he will need some time, patience, and love. Luckily, his foster family is doing a great job of taking care of this guy until his perfect forever family comes along!

We think Bandito would do best in a home where he is the only pet or with bigger dogs around his same size. We do not recommend a home with cats, small dogs, or other small pets. As always, you can do a trial adoption first to ensure a perfect fit!

Sevier County Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
Our adoption philosophy is built around matching the right pet with a family in need. It is our goal to help complete families by assisting them with finding their new furry family member. We believe that every animal is a unique individual and that finding the right animal for you is all about personality compatibility, not a strict set of rules. With that in mind, we try to make the search as easy for you as possible by starting with a short questionnaire to assess what you are looking for in a pet. From there it is all about talking with your adoption counselor and meeting different animals until you find The One. Once you fall in love, it is just a matter of a bit of paperwork and a small fee to help us cover part of our medical costs. *One small note: SACC reserves the right to deny any adoption, if we feel that the home is unsafe for the animal in question.
