Bandit's Story
Bandit was found as a stray dog in December of 2025. He would go back and forth between a few different businesses on a main road in town. Many people attempted to capture him, but he was so scared, he wouldn't come up to anyone. We were finally able to bring him to the shelter in January of 2026 after over a month of trying. He came to us terrified and was very unsure of people. After a few weeks he turned into a completely different dog! Now, Bandit loves to get lots of cuddles and pets. (Especially if there's treats involved) He goes with us to nearly every adoption event and he is always on his very best behavior! He does great walking on a leash, and he is calm in loud and new environments. He loves playing with other dogs and has gotten along with every dog he has met so far. He is very gentle and super smart. He enjoys learning new tricks and spending time with his people. Bandit would be a great family dog, and good in a home who already has other dogs, or even by himself.
