BANDIT's Story

Bandit (A133802) is a 2-year-old AK Husky who weighed 76.3 pounds on intake! 04/13/26 Bandit was surrendered to the shelter due to no fault of his own. He is an active breed and is looking for a home that understands his energy needs. He was described as a loyal boy who has an outgoing personality! Bandit does not have experience around children, but was said to jump up on people, so this is something to keep in mind if you have children in your home. Bandit knows his basic commands but would still benefit from attending a basic obedience class with a certified trainer to continue working on his manners. His surrendering owner stated that he is kennel-trained and mostly housebroken, but has regressed here recently. Keeping him on a consistent schedule does great for him! Bandit has limited experience around other animals, but was said to be interested in other dogs. It was noted that he has a rough playstyle with other animals. Ensuring that you are making appropriate introductions is key to helping set him up for success. Bandit was said to really like his people and LOVES a good belly rub. If you are interested in meeting Bandit, please let us know! 03/11/24 Will arrived at the shelter as a stray and is now looking for his new home! On arrival at the shelter, Will had an eye infection that has responded wonderfully to treatment! Will is a very active pup who is looking for an owner who can keep him both mentally and physically stimulated as he ages. He is going to need help with potty training, kennel training, basic obedience, and continued positive socialization. Puppies are a lot of work and a big responsibility. If you have the time and energy to devote to this little one, please let us know!
