Bandit's Story

Hi! My name is Bandit. I am about 1.5 years old, weighing in at 56lbs. I am a Chocolate Lab mix. We don’t really know what breeds I am because I was found as a stray.

I am a happy, hyper boy! I love being on the go and getting into things. I am learning to walk on a leash. I love adventures and being able to sniff. Foster mommy takes me into the corn fields by her house so I can use my sniffer a lot! I have a favorite toy I love to carry around and talk while it’s in my mouth.

I like kids! They are really fun. I like well mannered female dogs. I was just neutered so I’m still a little afraid and leery of male dogs right now. I love adult humans! My foster mom and dad play with me and I get really happy and wild. I do need continued training with my manners. I do know “sit”, “stay”, and “no”. We are working on learning more words. I need a dog savvy owner to make sure I continue to learn correctly so I can be the bestest boy. I am potty trained and crate trained now.

I haven’t had a good start to life but I really, really want to belong to a family! I want to make them happy and be loved! I love car rides, I just sit looking out the window or resting my head near my foster parents.

Bandit is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, up to date on vaccines, current on heartworm preventative, and current on flea/tick preventative. If he sounds like a match for you, please fill out an adoption application using the URL below:

Bit.ly/WHASadoptionapplication

Bandit’s adoption fee is $400.

***Please note, Willow Haven Animal Sanctuary is a foster based rescue.
