This handsome black and blue merle Border Collie mix is 16 weeks old, weighs 22 pounds, and is expected to grow into a medium-sized adult.<br/><br/>Bandit is a happy, outgoing puppy who loves everyone he meets. He's wonderful with kids, enjoys meeting new people, and is always ready for his next adventure. Whether it's hiking, playing in the yard, or cuddling on the couch after a busy day, Bandit is happiest spending time with his people.<br/><br/>He gets along well with other dogs but can be a little bossy with his toys, so he would do best as an only dog or with a larger, confident canine companion. He's also good with cats.<br/><br/>Bandit is doing an excellent job with potty training, walks nicely on a leash, and is a smart puppy who is eager to learn. Our mission is to save dogs who have been abandoned, neglected, surrendered, or placed on euthanasia lists, giving them a second chance through compassionate foster care, veterinary treatment, rehabilitation, training, and carefully matched forever homes. We believe every dog deserves the opportunity to heal, be loved, and find a family of their own.<br/><br/>Every dog in our program lives in a foster home where we learn about their personality, habits, energy level, and individual needs. This allows us to make the best possible match between each dog and their future family.<br/><br/>Our goal isn't simply to place dogsit's to create lifelong, successful adoptions.<br/><br/>Our Adoption Process<br/><br/>To help ensure every dog finds the right home, we ask all potential adopters to:<br/><br/>Complete an adoption application.<br/>Participate in a phone interview.<br/>Provide veterinary and personal references.<br/>Meet the dog before adoption whenever possible.<br/>Adoption Requirements<br/><br/>To provide our dogs with safe, permanent homes, adopters must:<br/><br/>Provide a safe, stable, indoor home.<br/>Have the time, financial ability, and commitment to provide lifelong care.<br/>Some dogs may have additional requirements based on their unique needs, such as a securely fenced yard, another canine companion, or a home without young children.
