Bandit's Story
Bandit is a 6-year-old boy who is ready for a calm and loving home. He has done well with both cats and low-energy dogs in his foster home. Bandit is a big, gentle guy who takes a little time to warm up, but once he does, he loves being near his person.

Bandit isn’t your typical high-energy dog — he prefers being indoors, relaxing, and watching the world from the window rather than going on long walks. He enjoys toys (especially stuffies) and will happily shred them for fun, but he doesn’t eat the pieces.

He can be a bit protective of his food and toys, so an adopter with general dog experience is preferred. He’s also a champion counter surfer and likes to check out the fridge or sink, but he responds well to gentle correction and is never aggressive.

Bandit would do best in a quieter home — either as the only pet or with another calm, low-energy animal who respects his space.

He has met a child — his foster’s niece — and was absolutely obsessed with her, following her around and soaking up all the attention. Because of this, we feel he could do well with respectful children after proper introductions.

If you’re looking for a laid-back companion who loves to relax, stay close, and enjoy a peaceful lifestyle, Bandit may be the perfect match for you.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete and submit an adoption application.
