Bandit's Story

Bandit is a tiny little outlaw! He is 8 years old and weighs just 7#. With his adorable little “mask,” he definitely looks the part of a mischievous bandit, but the only thing he’s guilty of stealing is laps and hearts. Bandit was surrendered locally with Lola. Although they are not bonded, they do well together and could be adopted together.

This little masked Bandit is equal parts cuddly companion and curious explorer. He loves to check things out, so a secure fenced yard and close supervision outside is a must. He’s tiny and the world is big, and we want to keep this little adventurer safe. He has also been known to squeeze through a fence to sneak off on mini expeditions.

Bandit is potty pad trained but may need a little help learning your routine, using a belly band at first can help. He’s a smart little guy and eager to settle into a comfy rhythm.

When he’s not on patrol or investigating his surroundings, Bandit is all about the snuggles. He’s a certified lap dog who will happily curl up with you and soak in all the love. He gets along well with other dogs and even cats, making him an easy addition to many homes.

And true to his name, Bandit takes his “security duties” seriously. He will absolutely alert you if there’s a real bandit outside! If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, slightly mischievous little sidekick to share your days (and your lap), Bandit is ready to steal your heart.

Bandit is neutered, current on vaccines and prevention, and microchipped. He recently had a major dental and only has one toofer left. He has also had bloodwork recently. Bandit’s adoption fee is $300. To meet him, please submit an application at www.k9kindnessrescue.org/adopt. As a reminder, we are not a shelter location and require a scheduled meet and greet.

Adopters must live within 175 miles of the Quad Cities. All pets currently in the home must be routinely kept up to date on shots, prevention and fixed to be approved for adoption.
