Bandit's Story
Meet Bandit!
Bandit is a 2-year-old Dachshund mix weighing 19 pounds and he is a shy little guy with a heart full of love. At first he can be nervous and needs someone who will go slow and give him time to feel safe. Once he trusts you he turns into the ultimate Velcro dog. He loves to sit in your lap, soak up attention, and give the sweetest kisses.

Bandit may be small, but he has a big voice. His bark is loud and proud, so he would not be the best fit for apartment living. He does wonderfully with older kids, cats, and other dogs, making him a great companion for a home that is patient, loving, and full of company.

Once Bandit comes out of his shell, his sweet and loyal personality shines through. All he needs is a gentle hand and a cozy lap to call his own.

Bandit is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.

**Please note: completing an "adoption inquiry" via Adopt-a-pet/Petfinder does not constitute an HFG Dog Rescue adoption application. All adoption applications must be completed on www.hfgdr.org**

HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own.
