Banderas's Story

Antonio and Banderas were brought in when a family asked for help. They were told by animal control they were over the limit and there had been a noise complaint. We accepted Antonio, Banderas and three other dogs. Antonio and Banderas are adjusting well. They were full of fleas, ticks and Banderas had lots of matted fur.
They also went in for medical care including routine shots, neuter and microchip. Antonio also had a hernia repaired. Antonio is brave and social. He was the first to seek affection from his foster. With more time and training these boys will flourish.
They appear to by Shih-Tzu/terrier mixes of about 6 to 9 months. Both are doing well going potty on pads and outdoors. They have started enjoying a little play now that they are feeling much better! We always worry about dogs during transition times. It is essential for their new owner to take the time to build trust to help ensure safety at all times. Go slow and allow these boys to know they are in the right hands. You will be rewarded!
