He starts every day with a happy wag and a quick morning routine: out around 7am for a potty break, breakfast, and then a walk that can be as short or as long as you’d like. He enjoys stretching his legs, sniffing the neighborhood, and taking in the world around him, whether it’s a leisurely stroll or a more active outing.

Back home, Bandana spends the day with a mix of play and relaxation. He loves a good game of fetch with a tennis ball, and he also entertains himself with toys and chews. Once he’s gotten his wiggles out, he’s all about the cozy life— napping near his foster parent while they work, curling up in a sunny patch, or snuggling in for ear and chin scratches. His number one priority is being close to his people and soaking up all the love.

Potty training is going very well. Bandana stays accident-free as long as he’s taken out every 3–4 hours, and with consistency, he’ll have the routine fully mastered soon. He sleeps quietly in his crate at night and settles well when it’s time to wind down.

With other dogs, Bandana is flexible. He enjoys playing with his foster’s youngest dog but coexists calmly with the others, and he’d be perfectly content as an only dog or as part of a home with friendly canine companions.

When meeting new people, he may bark briefly out of excitement or uncertainty, but he warms up quickly and soon flops over for affection. His mix of playfulness and sweetness makes him easy to love: zoomies, fetch sessions, squirrel-watching, and walks are all in his repertoire— but once he’s had his fun, he’s a total snuggle bug and happiest curled up next to you. He doesn't need a ton of exercise; walks and/or yard playtime will work just fine.

Bandana’s ideal home is one that enjoys companionship, appreciates a dog who’s affectionate without being overly demanding, and can offer him a balance of activity and downtime. He’ll slot in beautifully whether you’re a single adopter, a couple, or a family with kids.

Favorite things: walks of any length, fetch with tennis balls, toys and chews, sunny napping spots, following his person around, and sleeping on his back with all four paws in the air.

In short: Bandana is a lovable, goofy little guy with a heart full of devotion and a tail that never stops wagging. With continued patience and routine, he’s well on his way to becoming someone’s loyal, easygoing, and endlessly entertaining best friend.
