Come meet me, Banana (my friends call me Nani)! <br/><br/>I was born on August 17th in Texas and came all the way to Illinois with my siblings in November. I am still a growing, male puppy and am expected to be around 60lbs, though, we’re all just guessing! While I love my foster family, I would REALLY love to finally find a family of my own!<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a friend who loves to learn and is a very focused student, I’m your guy. I know to sit and wait nicely for my meals until I get the “ok” signal. My current résumé includes: sit, lay, shake, stay, spin, speak, roll over, catch, fetch/drop, with more to come! I’m even learning all my tricks with just using hand signals. I’m always up for learning more, especially if you have treats!<br/><br/>I am a medium energy pup- I like to play and zoom around the yard, but I like to nap and quietly chew my toys just as much. I get called an “old soul” a lot, because I have always been very good at being calm and collected. <br/><br/>I’m very social, so I get along with every person and dog I’ve met so far (especially kids!). I’ve never met any small animals or cats, but I think that would be ok if you set boundaries. I’m still working on perfecting my leash manners, because I think everyone I see is there just to meet me (but, aren’t they though?). <br/><br/>I am potty trained and crate trained. I sleep nicely in a crate, but I do love to snuggle right by anyone who allows it. <br/><br/>Don’t let my “resting serious face” fool you, I have a big personality and love to have some fun. So if you like outdoor adventures or just want to snuggle and watch some tv- your search is over!<br/><br/>Our standard adoption fee is $465. We offer a $15 discount for adopters who pay by cash or check, making the adoption fee $450.<br/><br/>The adoption fee includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at one of our participating veterinarians, age-appropriate core vaccinations, fecal test, deworming, current on flea and tick preventative, and microchip.<br/><br/>To ensure the best match for both our dogs and adopters, we require a fully completed adoption application, a phone interview, and a meet-and-greet with the entire household.
