When this little girl first arrived at the shelter, the world seemed like a pretty frightening place. But underneath that timid exterior is one of the sweetest souls you could ever meet.

Once Bambi realizes you’re her friend, the walls come down, her little tail starts wagging, and suddenly all she wants is to be close to you.

At just 1 year old, Bambi is a petite, gentle, dog-friendly girl with so much love to give. She doesn’t need someone to change who she is. She just needs someone willing to give her the patience, kindness, and security she deserves.

We have watched this little girl learn to trust, and now we’re hoping someone will give her the chance to learn what it feels like to belong.
