Animal Information:<br/><br/>Bambi<br/><br/>is a 3-year-old Chihuahua mix that weighs 15 lbs.<br/>Even though she was scared when our partners first rescued her, she’s been incredibly sweet, calm, and gentle since then. She keeps her space clean, hasn’t had a single accident in her kennel, and really just wants a soft, safe place to rest.<br/>Bambi<br/>just needs a quiet, patient home where she can take things at her own pace and learn that people are safe. She’s not the kind of dog who is instantly the life of the party. She’s the kind you get to watch grow into herself.<br/><br/>Foster Profile:<br/><br/>Meet Bambi! This little girl is ready to be your snuggle buddy and trusty sidekick. She is settling in nicely in her foster home and has taken quite the liking to her daily walks. She's still learning leash manners since she is so curious, but takes to correction quickly. She knows basic commands like "wait" and "leave it." She likes her crate and generally goes in without a fight, though she's been known to demand extra snuggles before turning in for the night. Her potty training is going well, and when she has accidents, they usually happen on a pee pad in her crate.<br/><br/>Bambi loves her foster family, but is still pretty shy out in the world. Her foster's slowly socializing her on their walks around Seattle Center, Belltown, and beyond. With encouragement and reassurance from her foster, Bambi does well with people and small-to-medium dogs. She gets nervous around bigger dogs, and noise from passing buses, trucks, and the Seattle Center Monorail.<br/><br/>Bambi loves head and belly scratches. She'll close her eyes and throw her head back seemingly thinking, "ah, this is the good life." She also loves singing along to sirens passing her foster home or on walks around the neighborhood. From a shelter favorite to a foster favorite, this girl is beyond ready for her forever home.<br/><br/>Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian.
