Bambi's Story

BAMBI is approx 10 mos young. We are guessing she is a RED HEELER mix.
She was found as a stray with her mother and brother. Scarlett and Cosmo. (SCARLETT IS STILL AVAILABLE)
She loves affection and attention....belly rubs and cuddles. She is eager to learn and take direction. She is very good at learning. So as a goofy teenager, she likes to try things....tasting, playing with toys, antlers etc. ....but if you tell her NO, she tends to remember that which is awesome. She is being fostered with other dogs and gets on with all of them. She really bonds with people and comes when you call her and is an all around fun special girl. She did become pool savvy after falling in 2x.
She does like to explore but not too far away from her human. She loves exercise and she loves being at your feet resting. SHE WILL NEED TRAINING with her human like most dogs. She has some fear issues that a dog behaviorist said can be handled. She needs alpha parents .....which this breed thrives on.
About the breed: These dogs are hardy and not susceptible to many health issues, giving them endurance around a house or farm as well as many years of companionship to their humans. We highly recommend a Heeler for your household, as long as you are prepared for the energy it takes to give them a good home.
They make great hiking buddies.
currently in foster care in Houston Texas
