BAMBI

Bambi is a Shepherd/Lab mix and lives up to her heritage, she’s a Velcro dog! Bambi will keep a watchful eye over her foster, even if walking ahead on leash, she turns around to make sure all is well. She does great on leash and listens for the most part. On walks, other dogs will bark at her and she may be curious, will try to go to cautiously towards them but never barks back, she just moves on. Her previous owner had two small dogs.<br/><br/>Bambi has the best attitude; she never growls and always has her tail wagging. She has been around children, adults and teens and is a calm, gentle soul. She will bark when someone is at the door, but otherwise is quiet unless she wants your attention and a little loving, then she has a special voice that lets you know. She can be playful, chews on her toys and knaws on a raw knuckle bone but is not possessive; her foster will let her know she needs to take them away and Bambi will just wag her tail. <br/><br/>She is the perfect family dog, respectful and fun to be around. She enjoys outings and nature walks as much as a cozy couch with her family giving her scritches on the belly.
