Bambi's Story

Bambi is a joyful, resilient puppy who has already overcome more than most dogs her age — and you’d never know it by watching her live her life.
Now in a loving foster home, Bambi is thriving. She gets around just fine, plays, explores, and does all the normal puppy things. She is fully pottying on her own, loves cuddles, and especially enjoys sharing space with her foster cats, whom she adores.

Bambi was born with stiffness in her back legs that affects how they bend, but it doesn’t slow her down. She hops, runs, and keeps up without assistance. Her custom leg braces are currently being made, and we’re hopeful they’ll give her even more strength and flexibility as she grows — but it’s important to know that Bambi is not a special-needs dog. She lives like any other puppy and needs no help getting around.

She will do best in a home that understands she’s still growing and is excited to support her continued development with love, patience, and positive reinforcement. In return, Bambi offers endless affection, a gentle soul, and a happy, playful spirit.

Bambi is ready for her forever home — one that sees her for who she is: a confident, capable puppy with a big heart and a bright future.

If you are interested in meeting her please apply at www.wufaw.org/adopt
