Bambi is a fun loving, smart, and friendly ray of sunshine on a humdrum kind of day. Bambi came to us after she was surrendered to a friend of our rescue saved her from being euthanized. You see, Bambi is the product of poor backyard breeding, which has rendered her "unadoptable" - aka, they didn't think anyone would buy her because she looks a little different, and they didn't want to use her as a breeding machine. Bambi has no long term health problems associated with her origins, and no allergies that we have encountered. Bambi is quite literally, a forever puppy that looks like she's still growing into her long, deer-like legs, though she is full grown. Bambi is around 25 lbs.

Bambi is a mover and shaker. She loves to skitter across her grounds and play, and she is very gentle in her play time. She loves people very much and looks at you with melt-you-down-to-a-puddle-of-goo brown puppy eyes that we guarantee you won't be able to resist. She has puppy wiggles and a puppy expression. She's a smart girl. She doesn't mind being held like a baby and likes to party with anyone that's interested in doing so. She's a sweetheart who wants a new best friend for life, and isn't afraid to have a little patience with her as she grows accustomed to not being treated like a piece of property to be bought and sold at will, something in her past life that was all too common. She rides well in the car and is all about some playtime! Bambi is still in the stages of becoming house trained, when she came to us she didn't understand how to be a dog. We also would say she's a bit of high energy she loves to play and when she has a bit of nervousness she will circle you. She requires a lot of attention and we are hoping to find her a home who accepts her for who she is!

Peach County Animal Rescue is a rescue located in Fort Valley, GA. Our adoption fees range from $175-350+. On average, our fees are $250. Fees are higher for dogs that came to us with additional things like professional training (i.e. service dog, working dog).
