He loves having fun with his favorite humans and can be playful and goofy in a way that makes you forget just how big this boy really is!<br/><br/>Baloo would thrive in a quieter, more rural setting away from the hustle and bustle of busy city and suburban life. A spacious property where he can stretch his legs, explore, and enjoy the outdoors would be ideal. He has natural guardian instincts and takes his job of watching over his home seriously. Experience with large breeds is a must, and livestock guardian experience would be a huge plus.<br/><br/>Baloo also has an independent, stubborn streak, so he needs a strong, confident handler who is comfortable managing a dog of his size and can provide clear boundaries and consistent expectations. He needs someone who can confidently guide him and maintain structure, while understanding and respecting the instincts that come with his breed mix.<br/><br/>Baloo can do well with other dogs and prefers slow introductions. He could be happy as an only dog with continued socialization, or he may enjoy a compatible canine companion, preferably a dog closer to his size who can comfortably match his play style. Because he has a strong interest in chasing small critters, a cat-free home would be the best fit.<br/><br/>Baloo is a special combination of loyal guardian and lovable goofball.
