Bali's Story

Our adoption application can be found at the bottom of this pet’s bio. Once your application has been approved, we can arrange a virtual meet & greet with you and Bali.

Bali currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is eligible to transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up.

Meet Bali!

Bali is a 8 month old (as of 2/1/26) female pittie / lab mix. Bali is fully vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. While Bali is still a young pup now, we do anticipate she will grow to be a medium sized pup. Her mom is around 40 pounds, but we have no clue about the puppy daddy and his size.

Bali came to us as an owner surrender. A man reached out and needed help with 19 dogs that he had been taking in off the streets and Bali was one of them. Thankfully, we had amazing foster homes step up and we were able to take in 9 of the dogs. Bali is now in a foster home and waiting to find her forever home!

Bali is such a young pup that she’s friendly with everyone she meets! She currently lives in a foster home with other dogs and cats and does great with everyone. She also has children frequently visit and she is loving and playful towards them. She enjoys playing and her foster mom describes her as “so funny! She may be small, but she has a big personality". Bali is still a young pup, so her potential new family will need to understand that she still has some puppy energy to burn, BUT she also enjoys curling up on the couch and watching TV with her people.

Bali is fully potty and crate trained! She goes into her crate while her foster mom is away from the home for work or errands.

Bali is your typical puppy and loves running and playing with other dogs, so another dog in the home would be great, but isn’t a deal breaker. All of our puppies under the age of 1 year are highly encouraged / recommended to attend some sort of puppy obedience classes / training with their new family.

Interested in learning more about Bali or applying to adopt her? Please fill out our adoption application below and a volunteer will reach out to coordinate a virtual meet & greet!

https://heartoftheunderdog.org/adoption-application
