Bali is a 1 year old Shepherd mix with a big frame, an even bigger heart, and absolutely no idea how large she is. She has the sweetest personality, walks surprisingly well on a leash, and has mastered the art of handing out paws... even when nobody asked. If you're standing nearby, chances are you'll end up with a paw politely placed in your hand.<br/><br/>Bali is amazing with small kids, making her a fantastic family companion. While she is a fantastic dog with people, her breed makes her a poor companion for cats and testy with other dogs. She would prefer to be the only pet in the house! She's gentle, affectionate, and always eager to make new friends. Beneath her big-dog size is a soft-hearted girl who just wants to share her love, one unsolicited paw shake at a time.

Belleville Area Humane Society's Adoption Policy

Our process is simple! Search our online pet database for adoptable cats and dogs. Once you find your new best friend, please fill out our application online at bahspets.org/adopt/pet-adoption-application. Our staff will contact you and start processing your application. Once this process is completed, you are ready to meet your pet, sign the papers and take your cat or dog home! We're open from 10:00 until 5:00 Tuesday-Saturday by appointment only at this time.
