Bailey fka Marshall's Story

Meet Bailey! This handsome, one-year-old, 26-pound pup is on the lookout for his forever home, and he has an unlimited amount of love to give.

Bailey is the total package: playful, highly intelligent, and highly trainable. He is fully housebroken, perfectly crate-trained, and already has a fantastic foundation of good habits. Beyond his energetic and goofy side, Bailey is fiercely affectionate and forms an incredibly deep, loyal bond with his people. He's also a regular at his daycare and boarding spot in Watertown, where he has been socialized with other pups and human friends.

Because Bailey has a sensitive and slightly anxious side, his current busy condo community just has a bit too much foot traffic for his comfort. He is looking to trade the hustle and bustle for a quieter home where he can truly relax, let his guard down, and let his wonderful personality shine.

Baileys Ideal Home would be a single-family house or condo. We think he'd do best A single person or a couple (an adult-only, child-free home will help keep his daily routine calm and predictable.) And he would be thrilled to be your one-and-only pampered pet, though he could also thrive blending into an established, multi-dog "pack," as he does at daycare.

Bailey can be a little shy and fearful when meeting new faces for the very first time, so he is looking for a patient, understanding adopter who is willing to learn his language and let him warm up at his own pace. Once he figures out that you are safe, you are in his inner circle for life.

If you have a peaceful home and a big heart, Bailey is ready to be your most loyal, silly, and joyful best friend. He can be met in his current foster home in MA.

Adoption Fee: $500

Adoption Coordinator: Beth

Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area.

If you wish to adopt our dogs, please complete an online APPLICATION. You must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.

All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered.
Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee.
Forever Home Rescue makes all of the transportation arrangements.

Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs.
Any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the South and will prefer to do their business outdoors.
Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old and up.

Also, please note our open houses which occur most every week at foreverhomerescue.org. You can see when we are open and also which dogs will be at each open house. Dogs marked 'out of town' will not usually be at open houses until they are local.
