Bailey's Story

Welcome to Save a Lab Rescue Bailey! This lovely 5-year-old gal found herself needing a new home, through no fault of her own. She is about 70 pounds and has spent her whole life in a loving home. This kind and sweet girl is house trained and crate trained and is comfortable sleeping in her crate at night. Bailey is leash trained but can sometimes pull so would need an adult walking her.

Bailey loves other dogs, people, kids and even loves cats! She enjoys a car ride and comes when she is called...most of the time!

Because her whole world is changing, she is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. She loves to play ball or frisbee, in fact she loves to play so much, she would probably love a home with kids or an active family who wants to include her in their outings! If there are children in the home, they will need to be older due to Bailey’s tendency to jump up and try to snatch food.

Even with all the changes in her life, she has not had any accidents in her foster home. Bailey quickly fit right in with the dogs at her foster’s and she follows the dogs to be sure she doesn’t miss a treat or dinner time!

Bailey is such a fun and lovable dog; she will make a great addition to your family!

Bailey will be available for adoption in RI on, or after, September 5th, 2026

If you are interested in Bailey and are an approved adopter, please contact you’re Adoption Coordinator to be added to Bailey's list.
