The trio was extremely fearful and had to be safely trapped before they could be brought to safety.

Since arriving in rescue care, Bailey has continued making progress each day. While initially very scared and unsure of people, he has slowly started learning that human interaction can be safe, positive, and loving.

Now in Wisconsin, Bailey is decompressing and adjusting to home life. He is continuing to come out of his shell and has shown himself to be a sweet young dog who simply needs time, patience, and understanding.

As with many dogs from uncertain backgrounds, Bailey is still learning the basics of living in a home, including potty training, crate training, and leash manners. He may need extra TLC and reassurance as he settles in, but he has so much potential to thrive with the right family.

Bailey is dog friendly and would likely do well in a home that can provide routine, structure, and encouragement as he builds confidence. He has not yet been tested with cats or children.

Age: 8–10 months
Gender: Male
Weight: Approximately 40 lbs
Breed: Border Collie/Retriever Mix (best guess)
Neutered: Yes
Potty Trained: Working on it
Crate Trained: Working on it
Leash Manners: Improving
Good with Dogs: Yes
Good with Cats: Not tested
Good with Kids: Not tested

Bailey is now safe in Wisconsin and looking for his forever family.
