Bailey's Story
***Please read the full bio before inquiring!***
Bailey is a beautiful blue-eyed female husky who is approximately 1.5 years old. When Bailey first arrived at the shelter, she was very scared and unsocialized and required careful handling. However, despite her initial distrust of people and other dogs, with a little bit of time, patience, and dedication she is quickly discovering the value of canine friendships, human interaction, and embracing new experiences.
Bailey now loves to play with other dogs and her personality is very goofy. She is a very high-energy dog who is smart, loves to run, play, and explore any chance she gets so she would need someone who’s just as active and can provide her with both mental and physical stimulation. She is also crate-trained and house-trained, but may need a reminder in a new home.
Bailey is still a work in progress which means she has a list of needs from any potential adopters. She takes time to get used to new people so she would need to meet someone multiple times before taking her home. Bailey also needs a patient and experienced owner who is willing to continue to work with her. She would also do best in a quiet, country setting, low-traffic, ADULT ONLY home where she can continue to learn and grow at her own pace. Being a husky, a fenced in yard would be a plus and a home with another dog would be a must to help her adjust quicker.
