Bailey's Story

Bailey is a wonderful 12-week-old (born 9/18/25) Australian Shepherd/Lab/Shepherd mix that has already stolen our hearts. She weighs about 19 pounds and is full of curiosity, enthusiasm, and puppy charm. Bailey is eager to play and even more eager to learn—she loves going on walks and does great sleeping in her crate at night. She’s been very cooperative with housebreaking and is already starting to respond to a verbal command. Originally from Missouri, Bailey had a blast experiencing her first Illinois morning, joyfully playing in several inches of fresh snow. She’s a sweet, smart pup with so much potential and personality. 🐾

If you are interested in one of our puppies, the first step is to go to our website and fill out an application. https://placingpawsrescue.org/applications/dog-application/

BEFORE CONSIDERING A PUPPY FOR ADOPTION: Please keep in mind that puppies need attention during the day. They need frequent potty breaks, playtime, socialization and often a mid day meal. Please consider your daytime schedule before applying for a puppy.
